Bracewell, Milne, van Beek set to Feature in Ford Trophy Clash

The return of three internationally capped players will provide a boost to the Firebirds ahead of this weekend’s Ford Trophy fixture against the Central Stags at the Cello Basin Reserve.

Michael Bracewell is set to make his season debut for Wellington, after recently being named in the BLACKCAPS squad to tour Sri Lanka alongside teammates Tim Robinson and Nathan Smith.

Adam Milne and Logan van Beek also return to the side having sat out of Wednesday’s fixture as a part of their workload plans for the summer.

The Firebirds 12-man squad features five players with international cricket ties as they welcome the Central Stags to town for Round 3 of the Ford Trophy.

Michael Snedden, Gareth Severin, and Yahya Zeb all come out of the squad that beat Auckland on Wednesday.
