Maitlan Brown in Line For Blaze Debut, Firebirds Unchanged

Australian overseas pro Maitlan Brown is likely to make her Blaze debut tomorrow as the team makes one change for their Wellington Anniversary Day match against Auckland.

The Cello Basin Reserve will host a public holiday doubleheader tomorrow, with the teams having a quick turnaround from their match in Dunedin yesterday.

Rachel Bryant will exit the gameday squad to make room, while also scheduled to feature for the CODEC Wellington A Women in their second of two T20s against CD A Women today.

Leigh Kasperek remains unavailable due to a finger injury, and Georgia Plimmer’s stress fracture rehab is ongoing.

An unchanged Firebirds will be looking to build some momentum in their campaign after a well-rounded win against Otago yesterday.
